The EV Club Of The South is for EV drivers, their families and others interested in electric vehicles. Our purpose is:
* To be the voice of our members
* To promote the successful growth of the electric vehicle in the United States and the world
* To act as a network for information both to and from the manufacturers and retailers of electric vehicles
* To encourage the development of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure
Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association
VEVA is the Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association,
a non-profit society that promotes the development of environmentally sustainable
alternative transportation with a focus on electric drive vehicles.
We meet monthly to discuss current events, projects under development and to
plan various events each year which promote these concepts.

Our monthly meetings provide a place where our membership can hear from people directly involved with the EV industry, whether they are engineers, scientists, inventors, or business owners.
SEVA provides community outreach services where we provide information to the community at large, about electric vehicles, so that they can get the real information about what electric vehicles are, how they work, and how they can drive electric today.
Sacramento was the first EAA chapter on the web and is helping to pioneer the use of this medium to bring information about EV's to the world.

Electric Auto Association - Phoenix Chapter
The Phoenix Chapter of the Electric Auto Association strives to advance electric vehicle (EV) awareness. Electric Car Owners Club and the Electric Car Society.... Since 1982
The Electric Car Owners Club was started in 1982 by Frank Didik as an informal association of electric car owners and enthusiasts. At that time, interest in electric cars developed during the second gasoline crises in 1977, had died out, and it was very difficult for electric car owners to obtain information on maintaining and improving their electric cars. The club acted as a focal point for electric car owners. By 1986, over 900 electric vehicle owners world wide had joined the group. Most owners had either CitiCars, ComutaCars, Elcars (from Italy) or various conversions such as VW Beatles, Renault R5's, Renault Dalphine's, Bradly GT2's and even van conversions such as the Electric Jet Van. There was never a fee to join, though many members contributed their time and money to send out a newsletter and operate the BBS system. What distinguished Electric Car Owners Club™ members from so many other groups today, is that almost every member not only discussed electric cars, but also owned and drove electric cars on a regular basis.
